| | What AN likes about this machine Heavy duty, very solid machine. It sews through several layers of home decor fabrics like butter. The motor purrs and sings. Fast but easy to control the speed. No frills and no nonsense machine. Every function works as it should. Parts are made solid and high quality. Comparing to the Juki, my Pfaff looks like a toy. I love the auto thread cutter. Bobbin winder is perfect. It's a straight stitch only machine, but comes with rolled hem foot, zipper foot, free motion feet, walking foot and conpensating foot. What AN does not like about this machine None so far. | *LOGIN to add a comment to this review *Only registered members can post comments to the reviews. | Reader Comments | | Mufffet | 8/5/08 | Love the looks and facility of this machine. Funny how though we love the bells and whistles we crave the fast straight stitch machine too. Thanks for a good review! She's a pretty machine! | | * * * | | Joep | 8/12/08 | Hello, Thanks for you reveiw. I have this machine also. I have to say that this machine is VERY close to perfect. I LUV, LUV the thread cutter and the straight stitch is wonderful. It is a very solid machine, all metal. It reminds me of my mom's machine when I was a little girl. I guess if I would change anything, it would be to put a few more stitches on it. But then it wouldn't be the straight stitch only machine we crave. It's very relaxing to sew on and purrs like a kitten. | | * * * |
