| | What Carla likes about this machine When I get it to work I think I'll very much like it What Carla does not like about this machine Help! Have Janome 1600P on a Grace Pro Frame. After about 100 stitches the top thread shreads and breaks. I have the correct needles, We are threaded correctly... both bobbin & spool. I am on my third brand of thread (R/A right now). I have adjusted the foot pressure from 0 to 2.5. I have adjusted the heights of my rails. It seems as though the thread tension gets tighter as I sew, therefore shreading & breaking occurs? Any thoughts or ideas? | *LOGIN to add a comment to this review *Only registered members can post comments to the reviews. Membership is free. if you are not a member, please Sign-up now! |

I have heard they are discontinuing the 2 lesser models. | | * * * | | JY | 6/25/09 | Have you tried Bottom Line bobbin thread? I think it is by Superior. | | * * * | | boomertug | 7/1/09 | Carla, are you threading your machine with the presser foot up? If you thread it with the presser foot down, the tension will be off. Just a thought...Suzette | | * * * |
