My old Singer Model 15 has been my best buddy for so many years that I can't count them all. Sadie is a no-frills straight stitch machine, forward and backward. No automatic anything. She came to me in a fiber carrying case and a box of fancy feet and also the old green button hole attachment with several different size cams, that works like a charm. She never hangs up. She never complains, she just does her job. I clean and oil her on occasion and she purrs like a kitten. I have informed my husband that I want to be burried with my Sadie when the time comes. I may need her where I'm going . . . What Judy Clavel does not like about this machine
Some things are hard to find, like replacement brushes for the motor. I have recently ordered 2 sets and they were all too big. I will keep looking. | *LOGIN to add a comment to this review

I sent him an email and he called me this morning. He said he has a box of old brushes so I would have to take my machine up to Anacortes- about 50 miles, or he suggested we file them down to fit.
