| | What skae likes about this machine This is a table top blind hemmer with the curved needle. It is fairly easy to thread. I use it on lightweight fabric to heavy weight. You can adjust the thread so it doesn't show to where it takes a deep stitch and it shows. I use the find stitch so the stitch doesn't show. The needle size I use is 9 for the fine fabrics and a size 12 for the thicker fabric. I order my needle from allbrands. I order in bulk. 100 needles at a time. That place is the cheepest. This little machine does what the full size blindhemmer does.
I bought this machine from my local Midwest vac and sew center. My local dealer recomended this machine to me. I think if any of you would want a machine like this go to your local sew and vac repair dealer. online I would recomend allbrands or kens sewing center. You can also find this blindhemmer listed on ebay.
What skae does not like about this machine There nothing I dont like about this machine. It's a hard working machine. | *LOGIN to add a comment to this review *Only registered members can post comments to the reviews. Membership is free. if you are not a member, please Sign-up now! |

| Reader Comments | | Lil Flo | 9/23/09 | I do not know much about this type of machine. Is it easy to set? Did it come with attachments? You've had it for 6 what? Days, weeks, years? Please add more to the description so everyone will know what it can do or how easy it is to use. | | * * * | | seweibhlin | 9/24/09 | where did you get your machine-? I have never heard of it. so interesting! | | * * * | | dbsewer | 9/24/09 | OK, three non-reviews in a row. Please, please, look at some of the other machine reviews, see how thorough the ones are that give the most information, and come back with some details. You have three interesting machines but they need to get filled out with useful information. What if someone wanted to hunt one of these down? How would they know whether it was worth the money? Or if it would do what they want? More information. | | * * * | | skae | 9/24/09 | Lil flo, dbsewer is this better? | | * * * | | Lil Flo | 9/25/09 | Thanks for updating? Can anything be hemmed on this machine? I'm curious because you just don't see many of these. Seems rather handy. How does this differ from a regular sewing machine when hemming? I am not much of a garment sewer, I usually do hems only. I do mostly quilts. This machine has peaked my interest. Seems like a handy tool to have. Do you have to use special needles? Thanks, Flo | | * * * | | johnr55 | 10/8/09 | This machine has piqued my interest also. How does it work compared to the blind hem stitch on a sewing machine? | | * * * |
