What MaryEllenBarnatt likes about this machine
Just wanted to add to the comments from Soolip, thanks for all the info on this machine just got it yesterday. Salvation Army in Rhode Island. It's beautiful and in it's orginal cabinet, which is birds eye maple and still pristine.
Glad to know I got a good machine and am looking forward to using it a lot in the future.

dbsewer 10/1/09This should go on a discussion board, as it's not a review. Please, anyone posting a review. It's supposed to help people decide if they want to buy a machine or not. It's not fair to anyone who reads these when you get non-reviews like this. Sorry to be so harsh but my patience is wearing thin given the number of non-reviews that have popped up here.

Mufffet 10/1/09 You can edit this to make it a real review though! Come back when you have had it awhile and update and let us know what it does and how it does it. Don't think everyone already knows these things.

Lil Flo 10/1/09I would love to see a review on this machine. You got an excellent price on it. I would never be so lucky. Please update. Thanks, Flo

busyozmum 10/2/09Yes, it'll be nice to see what you think when you've had it a while. I was lucky enough to buy a treadle 201 this week on eBay. I have used it for a couple of days and I am absolutely bowled over by how brilliant this machine sews. I also own a wonderful Pfaff 1471 and new Bernina 440QE. Both awesome machines but I've gotta tell ya, this Singer 201k is up there with the rest of the best for quality of stitch. Amazing! I'm sure you'll be happy.

Lil Flo 10/7/09I just found a 15-91 at a flea market for $10. I am having it cleaned and rewired in the morning. It took me all day. I was about to give up and then there she was. Waiting on me. In excellent shape. The jappaning is flawless. The machine really looks nice. I can't wait to get her up and running. She works but has been sitting in a pile of junk, so I want to have new wiring put on her before using her.
