What LindaCan2 likes about this machine
I just received it today, and I opened the box, checked to make sure it was threaded correctly after being shipped by UPS. With a couple of minor adjustments and setting the tension dials on "3" as indicated in the owner's manual, I started to sew. Within 15 minutes, I had completed a curtain valance. It sews beautifully. It is NOT loud as others have complained; it does not vibrate, and I don't have a pad under the machine. So far, I love the machine, and it does not appear at all hard to re-thread. The owner's manual is adequate. I studied the manual online before my serger arrived, therefore, I was ready to sew immediately after unpacking it. I recommend supplementing it with a serger book written by Nancy Zieman, that is, if you need additional help and ideas for using your new serger. I love the fact that I can sew a rolled hem without removing the plate.

What LindaCan2 does not like about this machine
I haven't found anything that I don't like, although I've only had it a short time.

Mufffet 11/3/09Thanks for the review. Good to know the features and how you find setting it up and sewing! Come back later and update on how it goes over time. I would think it will be very sturdy!
