What mcurk likes about this machine
I love the needle threader. The automatic tension works wonderfully. The stitch length allows a basting stitch of 4.8, which is easier to remove than a 4. The buttonholer works well when set up properly. The variable speed control is wonderful for a beginner.
The low cost allowed me to start sewing again after 30 years. I didn't want to spend a lot in case it would be relegated to the closet. It's worked wonderfully and I've had a really good "re-entry" experience with sewing. What mcurk does not like about this machine
At some point, I may want it to sew faster, but for now the slower speed works quite well for me. A better light would be helpful. |
