What pin-up girl likes about this machine
Bought this off a lady on Craig's List for a mere $20! She could not get the hang off it and threading was difficult for her so she got rid of it, my first Serger,got the video, attachments and the manual but it is useless. The instructions to thread are on the machine and clear to me, but needs good eye sight and small hands to do and there is a neat trick to threading new spools I learned, which make things easier. As for operations it took a while to learn different functions and get tension right but that was my newbie error not the machine. Has worked without problems since and does a good serger job. If you can find a Singer serger book with great photos of stitches and technique, it will help with any Serger machine questions you may have. What pin-up girl does not like about this machine
The noise maybe. Not a quiet machine. |

In general, sergers are noisy. You got a great deal! I had a version of this model years ago as my first serger and serged golf grass on it!
