What mamahmendez likes about this machine
This is a great machine. It is simple to use and versatile. It took me about 2 month to decide what machine to get. I needed one that was reliable and easy enough for a 5 year old to use (my daughter like to sew simple projects). This was a good choice for us.
I thought I didn't need a threader or thread cutter but I LOVE THEM. The speed control is a great feature for new sewers. It also helps to make sure you get a good stitch on all fabrics. You can program your stitches with helps to get the best quarter inch for quilt peicing. I did a custom setting so my 1/4" is always perfect.
The thing I like the most about this machine is the indicator light. As I stated my daughter uses it and it helps her to see that the machine is ready for her to sew. I think they did a great job with this machine.
I also use the Pfaff 6091 (there is a review for that too). What mamahmendez does not like about this machine
I will say it isn't the best motor out there. I have burned up two Brothers making large, thick quilts. I don't think this is the best machine for advid quilters but it does small one great. |

Nice review on a machine I own. Just a heads up...I was OK on it's buttonholes but for some reason after it has done one side when it comes up to do the other side it gets hung up and does a big glob. I'm clueless why it doesn't proceed so I find this very aggravating. So if this happens to your daughter it is probably not user error. :)

I also have this machine and I love it too! It is a great machine especially for the price.
