What Rtionnei likes about this machine I absolutely love this machine. I bought it for the purpose of sewing through heavier fabrics such as denim, leather, canvas. I have no plans upon doing upholstery or car interior so I cant say much on how well this machine sews through that. I like this machine because of it's ease to use. It comes with a feature of reverse stitch. This machine sews so beautifully and quietly. Its so easy to thread and adjust. Im Just so happy to have gotten this machine. What Rtionnei does not like about this machine There is nothing as of yet that I don't like but I will update my review if anything comes up. |

I am wondering where PR is getting these built in features? A drop in bobbin and adjustible pressure?? You will really love this machine. Be sure to update it after you have used it for a few projects.

The Singer 201 does have a drop in bobbin and adjustable presser foot pressure. It is a nice machine.

Oh how lovely. Thanks for this info I would not have guessed this. Makes you really pause for thought that the most basic of todays machines do not offer adjustible presser foot pressure. Seems like it is always associated with a computerized sm.
