What Salem13 likes about this machine
Chain stitch -- no-bobbin. Seams are easy to take out, and offer some stretch. Adjustable for very fine threads or coarser ones -- change needles as needed.
Machine was treadle-operated, now electric motor sends it going. Quiet, simple mechanism, easy to oil.
Comes with many attachments which do Victorian ruffles, etc. (but I don't use them). I understand that new needles are available from another modern company. Information on the Internet about history of the machine and its quirks. What Salem13 does not like about this machine
