It's light weight. When you can get it to sew, it's fairly good.
What sewdoggie22 does not like about this machine
The bobbin would have been a deal breaker if I'd know how difficult it is thread. The bobbin case is black which makes it really difficult to see the thread. The time taking process of threading the bobbin just to fill it, then putting it back in the machine is very annoying.
Once the bobbin is in the machine and tested to make sure it's threaded correctly, it will jump out of the thread holder and you can sew an entire seam and not know the bobbin thread is skipping. OH, AND the bobbins don't fit the other Pfaff machines. It takes a different bobbin which is not marked or designed for always putting it in correctly.
I've spent too much time trying to get the bobbin to work. The bobbin cover is difficult to remove and even worse to put back. Very ricky ticky.
Once the machine sews, it starts out slowly and picks up speed making it annoying to hold an even pace.
