|What cinnamonstick likes about this machine|
Everything. I love, love, love the IDT and I can't imagine being without it now. This is certainly an upgrade from my previous machine (a janome 2160dc) that I was mostly happy with but as I started to sew a lot more, I was struggling with it.
My main worry about this machine - it lacks presser foot pressure control... but I have had NO problem on multiple layers of wovens (canvas, twill, voile) or stretchy knits (cotton jersey and cotton/lycra jersey, as well as swimsuit 4-way knit fabric).
I'm surprised at how much I appreciate the more powerful machine. I'm also surprised to like the extra harp space, as someone who is mainly a garment sewer.
There are a bunch of features for the price. I know there probably aren't many more of these available (in fact I'm pretty sure I got the last one from my dealer) but I'm very happy.

Nothing... though I sort of covert the Pfaff 5.0... it's dangerous to lurk around here :)
