|What Boonedox likes about this machine|
This is just first impressions as I've only had the machine for a week. I was looking for a machine that I could FMQ on. I'm just a beginner with FMQ but I can tell you that this machine made a difference. It's solid and you can sew sew sew without feeling like you're abusing the thing. This is one of those less is more kind of machines but not so much so that you're missing features. I've read he likes his oil, and it's very simple to make him happy. A needle up/down was a must for me but the thread cutter and the knee lift are awesome! I was a little worried about accidentally cutting the thread with the foot peddle, but that's not a problem at all. You have to think about pushing your heel down to cut. What a wonderful little trick that is. This machine can really fly but he is also easy to use slowly. I purchased a Janome 1/4" foot part no. 767-820-105 to use for piecing and it's just perfect. So, first impressions here are very positive.
What Boonedox does not like about this machine
The only thing that I think could've been better is if I hadn't read the instructions on the automatic needle threader. Watching the YouTube video was much better for me.
