Everything!! This machine is a workhouse. I sew purses, and it powers through leather easily. With the leather needle and walking foot of course. It powers through 8 layers of insul bright, 4 layers of canvas without a problem. This machine is super easy to use and have never had it in the shop other than for yearly service.
I started out on the brother Inovis 40, project runway machine, but it wouldn't power through the seams with the bag straps, so I started looking to upgrade and went to the local bernina dealership with all my layers of insul bright and canvas (I was making an insulated grocery tote) an told them I needed something that would power through this. The 350 did, but they had the aurora 430 in as a used machine, it was about the same price, warranty and classes with a lot more features and the 430 is a full size machine, where the 350 is a bit smaller between the needle and the machine. The motor is the same, but I wanted the extra room and more features. My machine also came with the white snap on table (that I'd never be able to live without!), the blue carrying bag, extra manuals, extra feet, the 20 yr warranty and it looked new, performed like new.
The stitches are perfect and I hardly have to mess with the tension. The manual is very user friendly and also came with a DVD.
I highly recommend the walking foot, it's easy to attach to your machine, as are all Of the one piece bernina feet. I use the walking foot the most, followed by 37 (1/4" foot), and to do zippers, instead of the zipper foot, I ALWAYS use foot 5 (stitch in the ditch) and move the needle as far left as it will go. Works amazing! Just butt the guide up to the edge of the fabric when doing zipper pockets and the stitching is always straight.
This machine is so easy to use, my husband can figure it out :)
Also, I do have the knee left, I have never used it, but am told its life changing. :)
Sometimes I have skipped stitches or a loose stitch, but it goes away as soon as I oil the machine. I usually oil every 2-3 bobbins, but I guess she's a bit finicky and likes to be oiled more. :) not a problem, it's really easy to do and takes a second.
