Announcing New Simplicity Patterns!

When you look at Simplicity's newest catalog, you'll see that we're moving closer to spring with the light, upbeat looks that are featured there.




Simplicity 2250 Misses Dresses
Sizes 6-14 and 14-22


This sweet Cynthia Rowley dress comes in two lengths (A and B) and features a cute tie and ruffles on the back bodice. Make the jacket and you've got insurance against the cold! View C has a contrasting hem.

Suggested fabrics: Laundered cottons, batiks, lightweight denim, damask, pique, poplin, twill, sateen, crepe, silk linen, brocade, satin, shantung, taffeta, soft lightweight linen and linen blends.




Simplicity 2258 Misses Skirts and Pants
Sizes 6-14 and 14-22


Skirts in three lengths, capri pants and shorts...this pattern has them all!

Views A and C feature waist ties. Views A and B have side slits. View B pants gather at the bottom leg with drawstrings.

Suggested fabrics: Laundered cottons, calico, batiks, lightweight denim, pique, poplin, twill, sateen, silk linen, soft lightweight linen and linen blends.



Simplicity 2270 Child's Dress, Jacket and Bag
Sizes 3-6 and 7-14


Here's something for the little miss in your life! This darling dress come in two styles, without sleeves or with a ruffled sleeve. The cropped jacket echoes the neckline of the dress. And don't forget to make the matching purse! Sew these up in coordinating fabrics, and you'll have a mix-and-match ensemble!

Suggested fabrics: Gingham, laundered cottons, batiks, broadcloth, calico, pique, poplin, twill, sateen, eyelet, satin, and taffeta. Jacket also in softweight linen and linen blends.

I really like a number of these patterns, especially the dresses 2249 and 2247, and the top/pants 2261.
