Join us on Tuesday, January 18th at 8 PM EST for a chat with designer and mixed media artist Traci Bautista on "Collage and Mixed Media Design with Fabric".
Traci Bautista is the creative director and owner of treiC Designs, a mixed media artist, a designer and the author of the best-selling Collage Unleashed. 2011 marks the 10-year anniversary of the launching of her creative business endeavor. Her passion for sharing art has led her on a worldwide tour teaching mixed media workshops. She has a B.S. in Graphic Design & Marketing from Woodbury University.
Combining her love of designing clothes, doodling and lettering, Traci creates vibrantly colored handmade journals, revamped vintage clothing, custom handbags and paintings that are layered with rich textures of hand-printed papers, wildly stitched painted fabric, “girlie glam” ink drawings and free style lettering.
Her artwork has been featured in more than 40 craft publications, including Somerset Studio, Belle Armoire, Art Journaling, Altered Couture, cloth.paper.scissors, CRAFT and numerous art/craft books. She has been a regular guest artist on HGTV & DIY Networks' Craft Lab. She also has licensed artwork for an adhesive product line, Collage Pauge, and {kolLAJ} papercrafts. She is writing her second book, Doodles Unleashed, due to be released in January 2012.
