Announcing New Vogue Patterns!
Vogue has just come out with their newest patterns, and, as usual, the collection has many interesting looks! There is more emphasis on fashions that are shapely. There are even a couple for Mr. Vogue! See them all.

Vogue Patterns 1217 Misses' Dress and Slip
Sizes 6-12 and 14-22
This Anna Sui design is a loose-fitting pullover dress that has front neckline gathers, piping, stitched pleats at its lower edge, cap sleeves, a bow with a draped tie attached to the right front and an above mid-knee length. This pattern is rated "Easy".
Suggested Fabrics: Georgette, chiffon and batiste

Vogue Patterns 8720 Men's Coat and Belt
Sizes 34-40 and 40-46
Here's one for Mr. Vogue! This stylish unlined, double-breasted, below mid-knee length coat has raglan sleeves, welt pockets, a collar, a collar band, a back vent opening, a back rain flap, carriers, stitched hems, flat fell seams, topstitch trim, button, hook and eye closing and belt.
Suggested Fabrics: Raincoat fabric, sateen, lightweight twill and lightweight poplin. For lining (pockets): batiste. For interfacing: Nylon fusible knit.

Vogue Patterns 8705 Misses' Dress
Sizes 4-10 and 12-18
Test the wow factor in this dress! This shape-showing beauty is close-fitting and tapered with above mid-knee length. The dress has detailed seaming and straps, top-stitching trim and a back zipper. Wow!
Suggested Fabrics: Two-way stretch knits only. Cotton spandex, rayon spandex, and wool spandex.

8720 makes his legs look really short. I'd take 6" off the length, myself

I love that coat (8720)! I could see myself wearing that in a different color!
I got my home catalogue and after seeing the cover immediately sent a picture of my Alexander McQueen knock off...they are going to use it in their "what are you sewing" feature in the next issue. 1232 is in my future

I saw this catalog today. I'm trying to get the bravery to wear 8705. Or maybe that's my incentive to exercise more.
