Coat #7177 from the catalog is added to my Wish List. I will wait to see photos on real people to view the actual silhouette before ordering.

7132 is cute but I won't be buying any of them...I can't wear this oversized, shapeless style that is out now.

they all look very dated. I don;t think that I would sew any of them. I liked their patterns from 3-5 years ago better

I have to agree with Living Beauty. Lots of boring styles with a definite been there, done that feel to them. Could 7132 be less flattering on anyone but a model?
9/4/12 11:12 AM
I expected better of Burda. I agree with prior reviewers: it's as if the design team challenge was to see what they could make with a rectangle without losing the spirit of the rectangle.

I like 7167 A! Also 7132 A. Apparently I'm following an A-crowd today! ;-)
8/31/12 10:34 AM
mmmm no... None of them are doing it for me either.
8/28/12 9:18 PM
There are many non-rectangular pieces in the full collection. Not sure why these three pieces were chosen to represent the collection?! There's a lot more variety in shape and style.

I like the dress in 7132. Think it would work on an older hourglass like me or a young Audrey H. Type. It would be a fun LBD party dress.

I like 7132. All the patterns in this ensemble are attractive.

Nothing I would wear
8/26/12 5:41 PM
Not for me! Too much shapeless fabric,Not flattering for me.
8/26/12 3:46 AM
Yikes. I guess this is why I do alternative fashions. Good to see I'm not missing anything in the Big 4...

Wow, I love this collection! A lot of people on the thread here that introduced this collection really love these, too. (7-page thread started by GBK, here). I'm surprised at all the negative comments in this response thread. :( Maybe some of you didn't look beyond the three patterns posted on this page?

this looks like the beginning chapters of Adele Margolis "make your owndress patterns". VERY BASIC
8/25/12 9:14 AM
I like quite a lot of this collection (not necessarily the ones showcased here) but too many raglan sleeves which are desastrous for my shoulders. I have hope that burda is moving back to more shapely garments! :)
8/24/12 4:18 PM
Not seeing anything I believe would be an asset to my closet..or my figure!
8/24/12 3:34 PM
I'm in my 20's and I don't find any of these looks attractive. Wouldn't make or wear them at all...
8/24/12 2:04 PM
7132 B I like, but it's the only item from this collection that I could wear.

The patterns are not attractive. I find myself drawn often to the vintage 1970s patterns of my youth.
8/23/12 10:47 PM
I love all of them!
8/23/12 10:17 PM
Makes me glad I am not a slave to modern fashion. I'll stick to the classics.
8/23/12 6:11 PM
Such boring shapes these times. If you have more than one Burda mag, you have all these already. I'd like to see them move into patterns a little more difficult than rectangles.
8/23/12 4:33 PM
I think this particular pattern collection isnot good at all.
