Vote for the Top Patterns of 2012By Deepika on 12/19/12 11:08 AM

It's that time of the year again...when we vote for the Top 10 most reviewed patterns of 2012. As is the tradition, once your votes are in, we will publish the results in our Best Patterns Article next year. The patterns below are the nominees for this year. Click on the photo to see more info on each pattern, and pick your top 10 list. Vote here(Voting ends January 7th )
How the nominees are picked
Very simple: we mine our database for the most reviewed patterns of this year. Once we have the list, we eliminate the patterns which have already won the Best Patterns title before. We then look at the resulting list and remove the ones which have less than stellar rating by reviewers. The final list contains 20 patterns, 10 of which will make it to the final award list. So vote away!

Great that there are so many indies, but this is the most limited size range I think I've seen in the Best of voting... Interesting.

I'm surprised about the absence of Style Arc too

new look 6808 is a great pattern. ive made 3 of the 6 styles so far. very classy when made up and quite simple to sew.

So sad that almost half of the patterns are not available in my size. Won't bother to vote.

Do you have to have made up the pattern before you can vote for it?

I wish I had seen the McCalls dress pattern - I think one of my daughters would really like it.

I'm under the rock as well! Have not sewn any of these patterns (and do not plan to do so :-) How weird!

I guess I'm under the same rock except I haven't made any of these so.I can't vote!

Geez! What rock have I been living under? I've only sewn one of these patterns so I am hardly capable of voting! Look forward to seeing (and trying) the winners! Yes, it's exciting to see the indies being recognized!

This is so exciting! Thank you all for voting for Sewaholic Patterns, I'm thrilled that there are four of my patterns represented in the top 20!

Didn't see SuedeSays Simplicity Pattern number 1896, so added it as my number 10 selection. Love all of the Simplicity SuedeSays patterns. Even the ones for the little girls for my granddaughter.

Interesting, although not surprising, that there are so many indie patterns this year! It says a lot!!

Love that there are so many indie patterns this year! This batch feels more representative of what seems popular on PR than some batches in previous years.
