Best Patterns
Voting was started for the 2012 Best Patterns.
Vogue 1250 "Misses' Dress" was voted the Best Pattern of 2011.
PR Weekend
This year’s PR Weekend was held on May 18, 2012 in the Big Apple, New York City and was attended by more than 100 members! Read more about it!
PR Days
On December 12, we celebrated PR’s 11th Anniversary at six locations. Read about PR Day in Massachusetts, Baltimore and NYC.

We encouraged members to Make Your Own Jeans.
We learned more about the Little Black Dress.
We were crazy about peplums this year.
We gave some suggestions on what to sew for Halloween.
We featured figure skating wear and dancewear.
We focused on the maxi dress trend.
Designer Angela Wolf introduced us to Tangerine Tango, Pantone’s Color of the Year.
Angela Wolf wrote about The Top Fashion Trends for Fall/Winter 2012.
Vogue started it all. Members followed by modeling like the model on their patterns.

I am continually blown away by the community created here on PR. SO many talented and creative minds ruminating in one spot. I value the motivation, inspiration and ideas I get from others and it's always a thrill when someone is inspired by my work. My only regret is not having found PR sooner, however, I am very happy to be entering a new year with PR and all of the sewing friends made here. Happy New Year and best wishes to all!! Dorcas
