Sewing for summer? Vogue Patterns 2014 Summer Collection features quite a few new chic styles. While it’s still a little chilly here, we’re wishful sewing for the next season! From vintage styles to classic silhouettes, we can’t get enough of these fashion-forward outfits. For more inspiration, Emma One Sock designer fashion fabrics gave us some fantastic suggestions!

Vogue Patterns 1398 Misses’ Dress has an eye-catching tiered skirt and fitted bodice for an ultra-feminine look. This Badgley Mischka design is a stand out from the crowd, perfect for weddings and formal ceremonies this summer.

Budget: Hi-tech stretch crepe 'matte hybrid' - coral This is a new and wonderful stretch crepe, a high-tech weave that combines the drape of a 4-ply silk crepe with the stretch and look of a beefy matte jersey.

A great statement piece, Vogue Patterns 9004 Misses’ Top is striking with its color-blocking front seam detail. This structured top features a back zipper and shaped hemline for additional interest.

Budget: Italian natural clipped floral design cottonItalian mustard clipped floral design cotton This is a lovely quality Italian lawn weight cotton woven with a clipped jacquard floral design from a CA designer.

For a more casual look, Vogue Patterns 1395 Misses’ Dress is a pullover dress with an elasticized waist. Great for a backyard cookout or a day at the beach, this easy-going dress will be a summer staple.

Premium: Watercolor abstract floral design silk satin A gorgeous silk satin from a favorite supplier, opaque and drapey, with the luster of charmeuse but a teeny bit lighter in weight.

I love this feature. Pairing the new patterns with the appropriate fabric is such a great help. I with Emma One Sock would give suggestions to all of the patterns.

This is a great addition to PR. I really want to make up V1395 in a floral print.
