    About the Author
Sarah Jacobs makes Jewish ritual objects in fabric in her apartment in New York. Her sewing career began when she was four, when would spend the afternoons threading needles for her nearly blind, arthritic grandmother. She taught herself to sew on a machine when she was 30, by making every error possible. That perseverance paid off, Sarah's work is in private collections around the world, and some is in museums.
