||Contest:Pantone Colors Contest (Other)
||This is my composite review for the 2013 Spring Pantone Color Contest. I have no idea whether I'm submitting this properly, but it's the last day open for submissions and I'm hoping it gets to the right place!
I really fell in love with the Spring Pantone color palette, particularly the grayed jade. I bought the fabric for the blazer first, and after a lot of different garment considerations, I decided on the blazer. Since only two garments were acceptable, I had to make a dress and I just loved Burda's recent 04/2013-116 pattern. I hope you like it too!
Garment 1: Grayed Jade Blazer
The individual review for the blazer can be found here. I made this garment using Pantone Color Grayed Jade (14-6011). I like that this blazer is very versatile and very in trend right now. The color is wonderful and so springy and fresh and looks amazing with white and black.

Garment Two: Sweetheart Sheath Dress
The individual review for the garment found here. I made this dress using a mosaic stretch cotton sateen that I found online. The colors include African Violet (16-3520), Emerald (17-5641) and Linen (12-1008). If I'm being generous, I would also say there is some Dusk Blue in there but it's really hard to see in the pictures.

Finally, here's a link to an up-close picture of the fabrics and the Pantone colors.
My first contest so I hope I'm not forgetting anything!
