A flared, knee-length dress with a V-neck and optional sleeves or pockets. Although the envelope illustration is not especially attractive, the pattern is versatile and lends itself to a range of looks from prim to bohemian. The fabric, a cotton sateen, had been in my stash for about two years. It is a good choice for this pattern as it is drapey as well as cheerful and summery.
A second version of this fitted summer blouse with a shawl collar. This version incorported further fitting refinements. The fabric is a crisp cotton in a tropical print, bought at Spotlight about six years ago.
A fitted summer blouse with a shawl collar. The pattern appealed to me because it's multisized and I wanted fitting practice. I chose the fabric because it was one of the smaller pieces in my stash and just the right size for this pattern. It had been in my stash for about 3 years.
