Progress Report for nicegirl
Contest: 2012 Fabric Stash Contest     Managed By: Aroura

Photo Pattern Used Points Items Made Yardage Used Description Last Updated
1 BurdaStyle Magazine:Tie Neck Pullover Blouse (Tops) 5 2.000 5.125 I made two versions of a tie neck blouse out of stash fabric.

The first was cotton lawn. I used 1.5 yards of cotton lawn purchased from in May 2010, and underlined with 7/8 yard of cotton batiste from Vogue Fabrics in May 2010, for a total of 2 3/8 yards.

The second version was a vintage fabric I purchased in 2006, I believe. I had 2 yards of this very narrow fabric. It is lined with 3/4 yard of a lightweight silk (china/habitoi weight) that I honestly can't remember when I bought, probably about five years ago, for a total of 2 3/4 yards. I love using deep stash!

2 Self Drafted Pattern:Perfect Knit Wrap Dress (Dresses) 3 1.000 3.000 I bought 3 yards of this silk jersey last June hoping to get a dress and a shell out of it. Well, it turned out to be extremely narrow and it took creative cutting to get all the elements of the dress. I don't have any scraps larger than 3x3! 1/19/12 11:27 AM
  Total 8 3 8.125
