Photo Pattern Used Points Items Made Yardage Used Description Last Updated 1 Simplicity:5707 (Dresses) 1 1.000 2.250 Simplicity 5707 is a vintage pattern from 1964. Fitted bodice with sweetheart neckline and pleats in the skirt. I used a bright pink silk dupioni, and matching rayon bemberg lining. A waist stay helps to support the skirt. I shortened the pattern to a more flattering length, above the knee. I catch-stitched the hem with rayon seam binding. I love this dress, it is comfortable and flattering. I made it for a party, and got a lot of complements about it.
