I designed this wonderful throwback to a vintage purse. The Trapezoid Purse is fun to make and turns out a great handbag! The purse has a lining and no seams are shown when completed. There is a zippered pocket inside and a regular pocket. A magnetic snap strap closes the purse on top. I used medium weight interfacing for the outer shell, strap, and handle of the purse as well as the zippered pocket. The lining and regular pocket have no interfacing. Finished dimensions are 11.5 inches across the bottom, 8.5 inches across the top, 9.5 inches in height, and a shoulder strap 17.5 inches long in total. I love how it turned out and my 6 yr old daughter already snagged it so I have to make another for myself!
