When I was just a little girl my Mum taught me to sew on scraps of pink and white gingham so I could use the tiny checks as a guide to keep my stitches even and straight. It wasn't long before I started making hankies and clothes for my dolls and then, under the guidance of my ever patient Mum, I progressed to making clothes for myself. Studying an Advanced Diploma in Applied Fashion Design and Technology allowed me to extensively develop my skills and my love for fashion, designing, patternmaking and sewing. My design philosophy is all about making clothes that you feel good in, that are classic, versatile, feminine and uncomplicated with a touch of vintage prettiness. My patterns are designed to be easy to use, even for people with little to no sewing experience and my instruction booklets cover everything you'll need to know to make your new garment. |
