Vogue Patterns 2859 MISSES' JACKET, BLOUSE AND DRESS
Fitted, A-line, evening length dress: shoulder straps, front slit and side snap closing. Back wrap blouse: short sleeves, kimono in front and raglan in back, triangular cut-out, twisted collar extending from front and tie ends that slip through bound buttonhole in back and knots in front. Unlined, fitted jacket: tunic length, has front extending into crushed collar and sleeves extending to pointed yokes in front and back. Purchased frog.

Difficult, but great for Advanced Sewers
Pattern Description: Vintage gown with jacket and topper.
Pattern Sizing: Misses evens
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I modernized some elements of the original outfit, but on the whole yes.

Would NOT Recommend
I had a love/hate relationship with this pattern. I had high hopes for this top, even after reading the reviews that were reporting problems. Well, I was disappointed big time but, thanks to Nicegirl's review, I think it's better backwards!!
