We suggest silk, crepe, charmeuse, georgette or challis.
The Misses' pull-on, bias cut, flared skirts come in two lengths and
have elastic in casing at the waist. View A is a single layer skirt.
The View B skirt is double and the skirt is reversible. |

Easy & Great for Beginners
Update 7/13/04: I made this skirt again using a matte jersey I bought at Fabric Fix in NH. Here's a picture of the latest. Again, I used FOE at the waist. I used a narrow overlock stitch instead of the rolled hem. Not a whole lot different, but it's a little less dense, and works well with this

Pattern Description:
This is a pattern for a bias skirt in 2 lengths, with an elastic waistband. There are also instructions for a 2-layer skirt, if constructing the top layer out of something sheer. I made View A.
