Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Other than a few aesthetic modifications (such as off-the-shoulders) that my wife requested, the dress looked pretty much like the pattern photo.
Were the instructions easy to follow?

Pattern Sizing: Misses sizes 6 to 20 (I used a ten)

Difficult, but great for Advanced Sewers
Pattern Description:
Pattern includes two variants for a vaguely elizabethan dress (historical enough to get your point accross) One has a front closure the other a back closure with lots of extra trimming - I chose the back closure.
