Vogue Patterns 7819 CHILDREN'S JACKET AND DRESS
Unlined, above waist jacket has front loop and button closure, short sleeves and narrow hemmed edges. Lined, lower calf or floor length dress has fitted, sleeveless bodice, dirndl skirt, netting ruffle forming attached petticoat, and ribbon or fabric sash. A: contrast, sheer bodice overlay and overskirt. B: contrast bodice and sheer overskirts. A,B: purchased flowers.

Difficult, but great for Advanced Sewers
I thought the end result of the pattern was beautiful, but I have sewn quite a bit before this and I did not think this was an easy pattern to sew. I would not recommend it for a beginning seamstress, for sure. There were some parts of the pattern wording that had me completely baffled as it left

Recommend, with Modifications
This is my second go-round with this pattern. I used it before as the base for a Princess Tiana Costume. This time around I was making two flower girl dresses for my sister's wedding. Only minimal changes with these dresses.
