Textile Studio Sewing Pattern Skirt Wardrobe # 1103
|
Now you can create those simple and pricey skirts you see in ready-to-wear. This pattern contains 3 pull-on skirts: An a-line, a four gore and a six gore.
Suggested Fabric:View A: Full flowing, 6-panel riding skirt for sheers, gauzes, crinkle and lightweight draping fabrics.
View B: This 4-panel skirt drops from the hip with a slight flair. Designed for soft draping rayons and lightweight knits.
View C: Slim fitting A-line skirt designed for fabrics with some give: matte jersey, soft crepes, knits.
All Views: Allow extra fabric for shrinkage if pre-washing, lengthening.
Notions:1 yard 1 1/2” elastic that stretches to twice its length.

Pattern Description:
The skirt wardrobe offers a variety of gored and panel skirts, from very full, to basic A line. I chose to make the four gore skirt, elastic waist.

Pattern Description: The Skirt Wardrobe consists of three patterns: A-Line (aka Two Gore!), Four Gore and Six Gore. I'm pretty sure these were designed by Loes Hinse when she was with Textile Studio. LH has a new Gored Skirt Group that has earned raves, but I don't have it.

Pattern Description: Skirt Wardrobe. Elastic waistband, pull-on skirts, from slim to full bottom widths. I made view A, the fullest.
Pattern Sizing: XS - XXL, hips 36 - 50". Unfortunately, no waist measurements are given, and no finished garment measurements. Being waist-challenged at 44" with 50"
