Easy & Great for Beginners
When your son insists on being "Dorothy" from the Wizard of Oz for Halloween, a sewist (in Seattle) makes a gingham vest and Utilikilt! I'm glad I bought the pattern in a rush before reading the unfavorable patternreviews, because I got a great result from this pattern!

Would NOT Recommend
This is a pattern for boys' formalwear including four vest variations, a cummerbund, bow tie and tie.
The pattern comes in a little boys and big boys version; I used the 10-12-14 sizes and made size 14, view C vest for my 12-year-old son.
