Recommend, with Modifications
I really like the construction of this and the clever facing for the side neck. My first attempt was just as other reviewers have suggested, the center sections are way too wide. I just really like the overall design and am not ready to give up. UPDATE! I normally cut a 16 or 14 but just made

Recommend, with Modifications
Pattern Description:
Very loose fitting, pullover, slightly flared caftan, evening length, or top. Has princess seams and below length elbow or long sleeves. Narrow hem. Slightly tapered pants (loose fitting through hips) have elastic waist and stitched hems.

Easy & Great for Beginners
I sewed the long View B caftan in 2003. My fabric was black double gorgette.
I really loved this pattern. The directions were excellent and the construction and seams are more sophisticated than your usual "easy" pattern, even though it is very easy to sew and understand.

Would NOT Recommend
Pattern Description: Pattern is for a very loose fitting caftan, top (shorter version of the caftan) and pants.
Pattern Sizing: Pattern is multi-size. I purchased the 20-24 and made the size 24 to fit my large bust.
