The hat with the brim is slightly padded and quilted, and has a lining. The brim is finished with self fabric binding and includes wire, allowing you to form the brim to fit your own style.

Suggested Fabric: This hat is made from a medium weight fabric, linen, jacquard, denim, wool, velveteen, or corduroy.

Material Required: You will need 7/8 yd (0.80 m) of fabric that is 45" (115 cm) or 60" (152 cm) wide, 3/8 yd (0.35 m) of lining that is 45" (115 cm) or 60" (152 cm) wide, 1/2 yd (0.50 m) of fleece that is 45" (115 cm) wide, 3/4 yd (0.70 m) of 1" (2.5 cm) wide single fold bias tape, 1 1/4 yd (1.15 m) of flexible wire (which you can purchase at a hardware store), and thread.

This lined hat has six panels and a topstitched, floppy brim. It makes a great sun hat!
