Angela Osborn SS10-11-102 Esther Blouse Downloadable Pattern
This sweet, semi-fitted blouse features ruffled cap sleeves and a front button opening. Bust darts provide shape and the v-neck is flattering for most body shapes. Esther also features French seams at the side seams, so it's a great pattern for learning this technique. As all the seams are enclosed in the construction of this blouse, you won't need an overlocker when sewing this blouse. This is a versatile pattern that can achieve different looks depending on the type of fabric used. You could make a casual blouse out of a cotton lawn, or make a dressier version using a silk crepe de chine or charmeuse (light weight satin).
