Misses' Tops
Sizes: XS-S-M-L-XL
| These tops are designed for stretch knits only with 50% stretch across the grain. We
suggest fabric with spandex-LycraŽ, cotton LycraŽ, stretch velvet, panne, stretch lace
or textured knits. For the lining, use a lightweight cotton LycraŽ or swimwear lining. View
A and B tank style tops have a shelf-bra lining with elastic. The neckline and armholes
are finished with narrow hems. View C and D strapless tops have stitched elastic at the
top edge. View D has shirring at the center front bust. |

Easy & Great for Beginners
Pattern Description:
Misses tank style tops with shelf bra lining.
Pattern Sizing: XS - XL in the same envelope. I made a MED, which was too big for my tastes. Next time I will go with a small.

Easy & Great for Beginners
I have a cardigan top that doesn't button down all the way, and wanted
a shell to wear under it. I found some dark red stretch velvet that
matches well, and used that to make the strapless top (the cardigan
has a somewhat wide scoop neck, so I thought the tank top straps might
show and look weird)

Easy & Great for Beginners
Kwik Sew 2770 is a pattern for tank tops with a built-in shelf bra and strapless tops. The tank top requires 3/4 yard plus 1/2 for the bra. I've made the tank top twice, once from an old maternity dress with a stretched out neckline, and once from a t-shirt with a stain on the sleeve. So it's lik
