Recommend, with Modifications
I needed a gown for a couple of folk dance balls this year since my old one doesn't fit me too well (plus, ball gowns are fun to design). I got the pattern off of eBay... it's a very common pattern, and I think there are about six up for sale right now if anyone wants to make a similar dress.

Recommend, with Modifications
4/17 Updated with a correction: I had forgotten to mention sleeve ease (for biceps) in the measurements. This has been corrected.
I also wanted to mention that my own ease preferences are less than what is usually recommended. Most books and patterns recommend 3" for bust and 2" for biceps. This al
