JSM Patterns JSM (Joyce Simons Murphy) Pants1
A pants pattern with classic styling. It has plain front, fly front zipper, slant pockets, single front darts, double back darts, a 1" waistband, belt loops, and a slightly tapered leg. Pattern is single-sized and comes with a 14 page guidebook.

Pattern Description: Basic darted, slightly tapered trousers.
Pattern Sizing: Singled sized waist/hip 26.5/35 to 56/63. This pattern will fit a lot of ladies. I used an F because I had it, but could easily go to a E.

* * * * * * EDITED 6/18/06: I've changed the finished garment photo to reflect my latest version, in a dove grey gabardine, lined and with beltloops. I used the option of cutting the waisband pieces on the selvage edge, so it is a bit less bulky, see! I am still getting a gaping pocket, though. Wh

7/10/2009: Edited pattern number and pattern name to match the knit review so that it would show up in searches of this pattern.
Update 9/11 Made two more pants from this pattern out of 5 yds of cotton/lycra twill. One pant ended up to be mid-knee length shorts so I pinched out about 1" from the
