Recommend, with Modifications
I have finally had time to make my Christmas dress - just in time for my mother's birthday in February. Congratulate me - it is not black nor even dark, but floral.
I used Burda 2943 as a foundation shape for my version of the dress and used my dressmaker's dummy to make it fitted, rather than loos

Easy & Great for Beginners
Pattern Description:
Flared dress with shoulder straps, normally wide cut. (I didn't write that...they did!) I would have said "sleeveless, long shift with optional sheer overlay"
Pattern Sizing:
10-20
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
