Does this book have clear illustrations or photographs? This book has excellent explanations and illustrations of 3, 4, and 5 thread overlock stitches. This is my go to book when I'm having trouble adjusting the tension. The examples are actual photos and each thread is a different color which is invaluable for a newbie serger user.
Would you recommend this book as a MUST HAVE? I bought and read two books cover to cover when I bought my serger earlier this year. (The Ultimate Serger Answer Book is the other book) The Singer book is the one that I turn to 9 times out of 10 when I'm having tension adjustment issues. The garment construction and special effects chapters are also well illustrated and documented.
I highly recommend this book!
