Its a thick, extensive guide to just about everything you could want to know about sewing by machine or overlocker.
PaperBack or HardBound?
Hardback. Its heavy and a good inch thick.
Does this book have clear illustrations or photographs?
The photographs are stunningly beautiful and clear and there are illustrations as well, clearly marked for things like hems, markings etc. Many of the photos are really clear close ups.
The layout and sequence of images is very well planned.
Would you recommend this book as a MUST HAVE?
You know, I have no hesitation to recommend it because the information that Threads has gathered together into one place is so extensive and written in typical Threads standard of clarity and professionalism. I have seen and owned several other sewing books and few are as thorough as this book. it was expensive from my local book shop in Australia but worth every cent. Its beautifully presented and with care could be passed down generations as a useful guide to sewing.
