I would recommend this for Beginner level sewists. I think that sewists with experience with Burda Patterns and sewing would not find it educational. However if your into vintage then it would inspire vintage lovers.

Does this book have clear illustrations or photographs?
Yes. I just recently downloaded and printed a skirt pattern from Burda (my first ever Burda Pattern) and was really disappointed with the lack of instructions.
