I just received this book today. I am impressed with the variety of techniques in this book. Included with my review is the url to be able to look at all of the content of not only the edition that I purchased, which is not the most recent, but is wonderful nonetheless, but other newer as well as older editions. There are several full color pictures for every technique.
This book is suitable for all levels of sewing since it contains beginning material as well as advanced techniques. What it doesn't do is explain the why of the technique, only the how. For this reason, some of the more advanced tailoring techniques are a bit confusing for me, but I can always research the why elsewhere and return to this book for the beautiful colorful pictures with the explanation of the how.
I bought it because it was a bargain and I am always on the lookout for a book to add to my considerable sewing book library. I am not just not disappointed, I am delighted! This book is well worth the original purchase price of 39.95, although if you search, you will be able to find it at a reduced price as I did. I bought it used, although it looks brand new. Lucky me. |

I love step by step color photos. Sometimes thst's just what I need. I have this book too as one of my references.
