Book Index/Chapter headings The book begins with an intro to the Palmer/Pletsch fitting method, a history of pattern sizing, how to select a size, fitting different areas of the body, and how to correct issues (sway back, high round, full bust, etc). Throughout the book, there are pictures of REAL people going through the fitting and adjustments. The book walks you step by step through fitting different items such as shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses.
PaperBack or HardBound? I have seen this book available as a regular paperback or with spiral binding. The spiral binding is excellent because it sits flat.
Does this book have clear illustrations or photographs? In addition to having clear wording, the accompanying color photographs and illustrations really provide a good visual.
Would you recommend this book as a MUST HAVE? If you are interested in constructing garments, I would consider this book to be a must have.
