PaperBack or HardBound? This is a 154 page paperback book
Does this book have clear illustrations or photographs? There are a lot of drawings in the book to illustrate the concepts. Some of the sections are also accompanied by color photographs.
Would you recommend this book as a MUST HAVE? I ordered the book online, and I wasn't entirely sure what to expect to be honest. My primary reason for ordering the book was that I thought it might be a good tool to have as a reference for Barbara Deckert's Craftsy class that I recently purchased (and haven't watched yet).
I have to say that the book gave me a lot of ideas/concepts to consider. Written by a plus size author who is familiar with the challenges associated with fitting plus size bodies, her writing feels fresh and entertaining.
If you are plus sized or sewing/designing for a plus size person, I think this book would be a great addition to a sewing library. I wouldn't necessarily call this a must have, but I would still give it a recommendation. Some of the other books that I like aren't much more than a book to use as a reference, I actually read this book.
