Would you recommend this book as a MUST HAVE?
Probably not, unless you were interested in the period, in which case it might be useful. Unlike a lot of similar books, it does have a short chapter and three drafts on foundation garments-- a corset, a corselette, and a brassiere-- though the last is not particularly structured.
Otherwise, it's kind of a curiosity.
