For all women who enjoy dressing with a unique and individual style, this book is a must have. As a woman, who was a little girl in the fifties, it is of particular interest to me as I look at other maturing women - deciding what might work and what might not - as I advance through life.
There is very little writing in this book as it is primarily a photo essay on the STYLE sense of mature American woman who know who they are and how they wish to present themselves to the world at large. It is a well done book, with an interesting interview conducted by Dita Von Teese at the end. For those of us picking our way from 'fashion' to 'style' it is an invaluable look at the options available to us as we advance across the years from youthful to mature with grace and good humour.

I am about your age also, born in 1959, so I think this book is a must-have. I will definitely check it out! TFS!

I got this book last year for my birthday, as I requested. I had been following this author on his website for several years. It is a lovely book, and great to look at.
